CYCLES AND MOTORCYCLES REGULATIONS
The Run is open to four-wheeled cars, tri-cars and motor tricycles manufactured before 1st January 1905 and the subject of a valid Veteran Car Club of Great Britain (VCC) Dating Certificate (showing the date of completion of the vehicle as 1904 or earlier) or a valid VCC Veteran Passport.
If the vehicle does not already have a Dating Certificate, your car will need to be inspected by the VCC Dating Advisory Committee in order for a certificate to be issued. If a full Dating Certificate is issued, the car will be valid for the Run from the date of issue.
As an alternative to full dating, entrants can apply for a Veteran Passport to allow the vehicle to enter the Run - these are renewable and are valid for two years. These are also managed through the VCC Dating Advisory Committee.
Entrants of vehicles without a valid Dating Certificate or Passport must apply to the VCC Dating Advisory Committee. Applications for a Dating Certificate or Passport must be made directly to the VCC via website: www.vccofgb.co.uk Tel: +44(0)1462 742 818 or email: hq@vccofgb.co.uk. For further information please refer to the entry regulations.
Please help to maintain driving standards on the Run and remember to stick to the Highway Code at all times. We have a Code of Conduct and warning system in place which will be actively monitored by stewards and judges of fact throughout the Run. The system is as follows:
Multiple infringements on a single event: tots-up as above.
Please help us maintain the reputation of the event and safeguard its future.
