Over 180 pre-1905 veteran cars across the world took to their local roads on Sunday 1 November 2020 to commemorate the original Emancipation Run and fly the flag for those pioneering motorists who blazed a trail from London to Brighton in 1896. It was wonderful to see so many interpretations of the Virtual Run and to receive so many terrific photos and videos which we shared across the Run’s official social media channels on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and You Tube.

There were several prizes on offer to encourage all those taking part to share their day with us and a shortlist was created on the basis of the most popular posts across the Run's social media channels. A panel of judges from the VCR Steering Group decided the winners from this shortlist.
