Open Top Bus Tour 2017

(Hyde Park, London to Madeira Drive, Brighton and return)
The open top bus tours give spectators the opportunity to be involved and experience the 60 mile route taken by the veteran cars. You will be able to soak up the atmosphere in Hyde Park with exclusive access to the VIP viewing area at the start line and then follow the cars down the route to the Half Way Stop at Crawley High Street.
Veteran cars will be stopping in the High Street for interviews and here you will have the chance to watch the cars pass the half way mark of their journey. The buses will continue to follow the route with your next scheduled stop at the finish line at Madeira Drive. In Brighton, the passengers will have access to the paddock area where you will be able to view the cars as they cross the finish line and celebrate the end of an historic day. Due to the unpredictable British weather the buses will only be filled to 50 per cent capacity giving everyone the opportunity to shelter on the lower deck in the case of inclement weather.
The timetable for the route is shown below. Please note that these times are approximate / flexible and will depend on the traffic.
7.45am Buses to depart from Queen Elizabeth Gate, Park Lane, just outside Hyde Park. Passes must be presented upon arrival
10:30am Arrival at Crawley
12:30pm Departure from Crawley to Madeira Drive
2.00pm Arrival at Madeira Drive
4.40pm Departure from Madeira Drive
6.40pm Arrival in London. Drop off point at Queen Elizabeth Gate, Park Lane, just outside Hyde Park

The Royal Automobile Club is delighted to open its doors to participants and enthusiasts of the Bonhams VCR for a buffet lunch at their Pall Mall clubhouse in London. You will be able to mix with other like-minded enthusiasts in an automobile inspired setting. The Club has relaxed their normal dress code so casual attire is appropriate for this occasion.
Admission by ticket only. A ticket costs £58 including VAT per person.
Tickets will be sent to you at the beginning of October.
Note - It is recommended that participants of the 2017 Run book tickets for this during the entry application process.

The Royal Automobile Club and the Veteran Car Run Steering group are delighted to present the sixth Motoring Forum, taking place on Thursday 2 November in the Mountbatten Room at the Club’s Pall Mall clubhouse.
The Forum will take the now familiar format of enjoying presentations by key industry speakers on a range of automotive and motor sport-related topics, followed by a buffet lunch and further topical discussions before finally rounding off with a light-hearted quiz.
Regardless of where your motoring interest lies, it promises to be a thought provoking, informative and fun occasion. Tickets cost £15.00 each and include arrival refreshments and a buffet lunch.
