The Royal Automobile Club is delighted to open its doors to participants and enthusiasts of the Bonhams VCR for a buffet lunch at their Pall Mall clubhouse in London. You will be able to mix with other like-minded enthusiasts in an automobile inspired setting. The Club has relaxed their normal dress code so casual attire is appropriate for this occasion.
Admission by ticket only. A ticket costs £48 including VAT per person.
Tickets will be sent to you at the beginning of October.
Note - It is recommended that participants of the 2014 Run book tickets for this during the entry application process.

Open Top Bus Tour

8.15am – 6.30pm (Hyde Park, London to Madeira Drive, Brighton)
The open top bus tours give spectators the opportunity to be involved and experience the 60 mile route taken by the veteran cars. You will be able to soak up the atmosphere at the start line with exclusive access to the paddock area and then follow the cars down the route to the Harrods Stop at Crawley.
The veteran cars will line the paddock where you will have the chance to take photos with the cars and meet the owners. From here you will continue to follow the route with your next scheduled stop at the ceremonial finish line at Madeira Drive in Brighton. From here you will have access to the paddock area where you will be able to view the cars as they cross the finish line and celebrate the end of an historic day. Due to the unpredictable British weather the buses will only be filled to 50 per cent capacity giving everyone the opportunity to shelter on the lower deck in the case of inclement weather.
The timetable for the route is shown below. Please note that these times are approximate / flexible and will depend on the traffic.
8.15am Buses to depart from Queen Elizabeth Gate, Park Lane, just outside Hyde Park. Passes must be presented upon arrival
9.45am Arrival at Crawley
11.15am Departure from Crawley to Madeira Drive
12.15pm Arrival at Madeira Drive
4.30pm Departure from Madeira Drive
6.30pm Arrival in London. Drop off point at Queen Elizabeth Gate, Park Lane, just outside Hyde Park

Royal Automobile Club - Motoring Forum

The 2014 Motoring Forum once again features in the Royal Automobile Club’s Motoring Week, leading up to the weekend of the Regent Street Motor Show and the Bonhams London to Brighton Veteran Car Run. It takes place on Thursday 30 October from approximately 10.15am to 3.00pm. Please note these times are subject to change.
Now in its third year, the Motoring Forum has an extended schedule featuring two lectures, a light-hearted quiz and a special guest in the form of Ross Brawn - best known as one of the great technical geniuses of Formula 1 over the last generation, but also an enthusiastic veteran car owner who has entered the 2014 Run.
Tickets cost £15.00 and places are limited and are on a first issued basis. Price includes refreshments on arrival and a buffet lunch.
